- The price is pretty reasonable (though, i am not entirely convinced that the food will be stunning)
- the place is well kept and fairly new (the lady said they've only been open for 6 years)
- there's a water wall feature when you walk in (neato!)
- only 1 wedding at a time (no double booking, that's good)
- i'd have a private room to change/primp/ponder/and it locks (so wedding gifts would get shoved in there)
- could have the ceremony there too (hopefully we could start at 5 in that case...)
- knocking off $20 for removing the open bar and doing a host bar instead could help us save some moolah
- can have a big dance floor (24x28 ish)
- set up fees are included already
- Will need to do some major negotiating about table linens and what not, seeing as how they aren't keen on letting outside vendors do it
- some reservation about potentially cheesy photo ops with a golf cart...
I wasn't smart enough to whip out my camera, though, so i don't have any pictures to really remember everything. but the place looked clean, not too stuffy, spacious enough for our guests but not so overwhelmingly big. And it's nice to have the option of letting guests roam around outside during cocktails/hors d'oeurves.
Exciting! We'll see how the other places turn out, but this place seems promising. And it's only a 13 min drive from my parents' house.

the open bar is only 20 dollars?
