thoughts on: Highland Park Community House

In two words: probably not. I think if I was planning something other than my wedding, the place would be ok. But I kept thinking this place reminded me of the Adler Cultural Center, location of many an agonizing violin lesson. Also slightly odd that on one side of the ballroom was the view of an alleyway and apartments/houses. Meh. Not worth it.

I at least got a good hint on caterers, if I end up going that route. But that's also a bit of an issue because that just means another vendor I have to go through and coordinate with. Ugh.

Hopefully tomorrow is more fruitful. Arboretum Club, and Hilton Northbrook (this should have actually been the winnetka community house... but they cancelled on me yesterday. Lame. This is a big minus a bajillion points in my book)
